Websites do not work

I am new to Plesk and I am having trouble getting any websites to work. After I set up a domain, I can go to the site and get the Plesk website page but when I click on the ASP.net test page (or any of the test pages for that matter) I get a page not found error. Also, when I load a simple aspx webpage (just a <h1> one liner) to the httpdocs folder from Visual Studio 2005, after it loads successfully it either says when I run the site that I don’t have permission to access the website, or that it can’t find the requested page. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it.
