• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Weird Plesk Behaviour

New Pleskian
Hi :)

I'm maintaining a website which uses Plesk 12.0.18.

Recently I received some complaints from the host company for excessive (!!!) email activity in my site. They advised me to update the Joomla version from 2.5 to 3, which I did, and I also updated every plugin I've found.

I no longer receive complaining emails from the host, but now at random times I can't open the webpage on the browser. Sometimes I can fix the issue by suspending the site from the Plesk panel, but now even this doesn't work. Surprisingly, after renaming the index.php file to something else, and then back to the original name, I can open the website again.

Do you have any idea why this might be happening?
Thank you very much!
