What files/dirs are included in a domain backup?

Is it every dir/file under the domain dir? Specifically, I created a dir called "backup" under the domain dir that contains daily backup files of the database, and I need to know if this dir will get backed up with Plesk's backup mechanism that I have scheduled?

I found the backup/restore user manual, but it does not specifically say that it backs up data dir's in the domain dir structure such as my "Backup" dir. It does mention that it backs up SQL Server databases. That's interesting, which databases? Only the databases that Plesk knows about through its SQL Admin, or all databases in the local instance of SQL Server? Also, how does it back the database up, just a full dump, or ...??? The documentation is very lacking in this area.
