What happened to my FTP when I upgraded to version 12?

Has anyone even looked at this post? Any thought on the subject would be appreciated.

/etc and /lib are sensitive directories for chrooted proftpd and it is not safe to write there: http://bugs.proftpd.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4018
You can add "RLimitChroot off" to proftpd.conf on your own.
