  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question what happens to emails that exceed limits?

larryk

Regular Pleskian
say a user has 100 as the hourly limit.

then at 9:10am, that user sends out 500 emails.
obviously, 400 would be rejected (as per the stats)

WHAT ACTUALLY happens to those other 400 emails?
does the user know anything, get notifications?

thanks
:)

PS. i just went live with onyx from 11.5... so learning of the new features

The user should get a response like
"554 5.7.0 Your message could not be sent. The limit on the number of allowed outgoing messages was exceeded. Try again later."
The user does not get that information if the sender is a script on the server.

thanks! is there a way to ONLY tell the user 1 time?

in the above example, the user would get 400 responses?
ekk!
