  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

i own a virtual server with linux and plex since 2007 to only host my company webpage. But now i updated to newer version, open suse and plex. ( done by my virtual server provider )

Now - what exactly is PLEX and what i should do with it?

I know i could create a loot of new accounts for Resellers and other Customers and create new sub virtual server.

But what status i have. I am a owner of a virtual server, has Plex 9.2 admin rights. What now?

Please can some one give me a short overview. Plex is a product category that is complet new to me. I know appache as a server program, i know about FTP server, i know about revision control systems like CVS but what a type of program is PLEX?

Thanks
