IP connection log

I want to know where is (in coming smtp) connection log file (plesk 8.1.1). There is(are) someone use my smtp server to send spam emails, so I want to know their IP and block it. But I cannot find where is the log file.

Depends on your OS I believe, but you might want to check if /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog is your man.

Just go to your plesk administration panel and click Server/Mail and in the preferences tab check Relaying "authorization is required" check POP3 and SMTP leave the locktime at default 20. Click ok.

Even with authorization enabled someone could be sending spam through an account that someone found the password for, but surely you don't want to be running an open relay.
