  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved WildCard SSL & Multiple Servers

Jay McGregor

New Pleskian
I have purchased a Wildcard SSL and set sub.mydomain.com to the IP of the other server using DNS records (A record) in plesk.

Everything is installed correctly on the main server, however on the sub.mydomain.com the SSL doesn't work.

Any idea how I can make it work on the other server?

Thanks!

You need the SSL certificate installed on the other server. Make sure you add the Private Key, Certificate and CA Certificate too. The Private Key is vital. Just copy and paste from the other server.

I tried that, but it's still not working.

I installed the SSL cert on the other server in Tools & Settings -> SSL Certificates, it didn't work, then I hit "Make Default" still didn't work, however if I select "Secure Plesk" the Plesk Panel works fine on HTTPS (https://sub.mydomain.com:8443) but again the webpage https://sub.mydomain.com doesn't work..

Any ideas?

Nevermind, it was done.

As it seems only my browser cache had to be reset after installing the cert.
^^ That's my solution.
