    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

The long-awaited release of Plesk 18.0.69, with support for Windows Server 2025 is here. Unfortunately, trying to install Plesk on my freshly provisioned VPS yields the following error:

ERROR: Unable to install the "plesk-engine-18.69.52524.noarch" package.


The following could cause the installation failure:
1) plesk-engine-18.69.52524.noarch: No suitable solutions were found
for the "msodbcsql17" dependency.


2) The dependency for "msodbcsql17" required
 by the "plesk-engine-18.69.52524.noarch" package could not be resolved.

I have already attempted to install Microsoft OBDC Driver for SQL Server 17 for Windows from this page, but that makes no difference. Is there something I can do to fix this, or is this a bug with the new release of Plesk?

The behavior was recognized as a bug with ID PPPM-14920. Our team is currently working on releasing a fix. I cannot provide an ETA yet, but I will follow-up with more details soon. Thank you both for your input.
