WordPress Toolkit: 'scan' doesn't work anymore

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

CentOS Linux 7.9.2009 (Core)
Product Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.42 Update #1
WordPress Toolkit Version 5.10.0-6098

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

When you scan for a new WordPress website using the WordPress Toolkit, nothing is found.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  • Open the WordPress Toolkit
  • Detach a WordPress website from the WordPress Toolkit
  • Remove the file .wp-toolkit-ignore
  • Perform a new scan
  • WordPress Toolkit didn't find a new site

ACTUAL RESULT

Scanning for WordPress websites was performed and there's no WordPress site found.

EXPECTED RESULT

The WordPress site should be added to the WordPress Toolkit

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

While you're at it: the WP Toolkit used to find installations in the .trash folder. I can't tell if that's still the case but I don't think it should do that?

Confirm bug

Thank you!
There is not specified which user was used but WordPress Toolkit has an issue that scan feature doesn't work under non-admin users: EXTWPTOOLK-8997

It works again for non-administrator users, but not when you're the admin of the server.
Has this always been the case or is this a change in the scan procedure?
How can I attach an existing WP site as an administrator?
