Issue WP Toolkit - URLs blank for some sites

BBJohn

New Pleskian
Hi, I've recently taken over management of a large install of wordpress sites, and have started using the WP Toolkit extension in Plesk.

Some of the wordpress installs show a blank url, it will say just http://. Any idea where I can look to resolve that? Is it a setting that isn't correct in the WP install?

Is there a manual way to set the URL for the site?

Thanks!

Hello!

WordPress Toolkit retrieves site URL directly from WordPress. WordPress store such options in table "options" of own database. Site URL value could be viewed/changed using WordPress administrator interface directly, just go to Settings / General in left menu of WordPress administrator dashboard.

After any changes made at WordPress side, WordPress Toolkit retrieve it automatically, on daily bases. Or you can force it by clickng Refresh button at WordPress instance overview page.

So, if you see "http://" in the site URL of some WordPress instance, could you please check "WordPress Address (URL)" settings in WordPress administorator dashboard. Which URL you can see there? If this URL is correct, could you please refresh data of this WordPress instance by clicking "Refresh" button at WordPress overview page of WordPress Toolkit. Is the problem solved?

Hey Aleksey, Unfortunately that doesn't fix my problem, as the URL is already set in the Wordpress admin dashboard. Here are screenshots of the wordpress admin screen and the line from the WP Toolkit. I did try to refresh on the details page in WP Toolkit and that had no effect.

It's this way on maybe 10%-15% of the sites I am managing.

This is Plesk Onyx 17.0.17.

Hmm... it looks strange. Could you please retrieve details of this WordPress instance via following command line and send it to me privately (it could contain sensitive data):

plesk ext wp-toolkit --info -instance-id <ID of WordPress instance>

WordPress instance ID could be found in URL of overview page.

I hope, it will help us to found the root cause.

Hey Aleksey and BBJohn,

Is there a workaround for this issue with out reinstalling the whole site?

I've already checked the database and the WP setting/options and ran the command Aleksey said.
WP and the WP database say its correct and Plesk / the WPtoolkit just show http:// and the link behind it just opens a new tab.
