I'm very new to this, so please bear with me...
Below is the set-up for my website.
I have my domain: domain.org.uk.
Then, for various historical reasons, I have two aliases set up:
1) alias.net
2) subdomain.alias.net
DNS services are activated for both.
I have a CNAME record for the main domain (www.domain.org.uk), and this is of course is automatically propagated to the two aliases. So there are also CNAME records for www.alias.net and www.subdomain.alias.net.
Now, everything seems to work fine, except for www.subdomain.alias.net, which cannot be resolved, resulting in website not found errors and the like.
Can anyone tell me why this isn't working as I would expect it to?
Also, I don't know if this is the place to ask but perhaps it could be if there is something wrong in my settings that might be causing the problem, but certain people are unable to access my site at all, despite flushing their DNS cache and using OpenDNS. Is there anything I can do, or is the problem at their end?
