xinetd[16263]: warning: can't get client address: Connection reset by peer

mailman dies and when I check in /var/log/messages I get:
xinetd[16263]: warning: can't get client address: Connection reset by peer

any clue what could be the cause?

it is normal warning that the address of remote server could not be known. Also please check Knowledge Base article:
