New Pleskian
It is so useless to sign into a forum when you can not post after registering. However, I will try it here and this is my first post.

We run a licensed Plesk Obsidian 18.0.43

I try to install a SMF (Simple Machines Forum) and get the error:
---------------------------------------

Critical Error!

Your %1$s version does not meet the minimum requirements of SMF.

Please ask your host to upgrade.
---------------------------------------

We use MariaDB
We use php v7.1.33 also tried 7.2.34. No cure
I switched from FPM application served by Apache" to "FPM application served by nginx" back and forth. No cure
I checked mysqli and mysqlnd is active for php. No cure
The SMF Forum install package does not come from a hosters install box, it is original/ latests version download from Simple Machines Website.

Any hints? Thank you so much.

I see a MariaDB v 5.5.68

It seems this is from middle ages. I should maybe get this up to v10. Working through Plesk settings how to update the DB

Thank you maartenv, I will recheck into it. Yesterday I tried to update Plesk and it failed. Lost all my Servers. I have to get my VM back somewhere first :) (I am a Plesk noob)
