yum update and Parallels autoinstaller

New Pleskian
I'm updating/tidying a server I've had running for a while: CentOS 6 and Parallels Panel 10.4.4. Alls seems OK but I want to ensure I have the latest OS updates etc.

Is there any interplay/incomparability between using the Parallels updater, and using yum update? Yum update seems to suggest a number of upgrades - all of which seem fairly mundane - but I didn't want to go ahead with it in case it breaks anything in Plesk.

Does the Parallels updater also do yum update? If not, which should come first?

Hi matthew@,

an update with yum is own your own risk, but normally yum update will show you any depency-errors, when there will be a package updated.
So try yum update and recheck the list.

If there is no depency error, you should be able to update the system.
