Dear Pleskians! The Plesk Forum will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on Monday, 7th of July, at 9:00 AM UTC. The expected maintenance window is 2 hours.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding on the matter.
Hello, can you explain a bit your scenario? Why do you need to have password for MySQL used by Plesk?
In Plesk 17.8 we have split passwords of PSA database and admin password in Plesk (earlier they were equal). You still can get password for PSA database using utility psadb.exe...
Hello,
If I understand correctly, one of your domains uses scripts to open direct SMTP connections to external servers and send some emails avoiding your local SmarterMail. Right?
In this case, you will not see anything in SmarterMail logs, of course, because there is no SMTP activity through...
Yes, You can manage content of your subscription using Plesk File Manager after it is suspended. This is done specially to be able to resolve problems: sometimes there is some content generated or uploaded in your hosting space accidentally, and user should be able to remove this content. FTP...
Since Plesk doesn't manage Dynamic Compression in IIS, it is ok, if you have enabled it manually in IIS. Plesk shouldn't touch these settings.
My recommendation is to try to enable dynamic compression on any site hosted on the same server before. In this case you can ensure, that all IIS...
What browser are you using? Do you see any Javascript errors in browser? Have you tried another browser? Have you tried Ctrl-F5 to perform full refresh of the page?
Can you please explain a bit?
What OS do you have?
What do you mean by "activate errors"?
Probably, you see custom error page when accessing domain, and cannot see real error from ASP.NET, right?
Have you tried to enable detailed errors in your web.config file directly?
I'm talking about these...
Currently, I cannot recommend any production-ready solution for Linux.
p.s. you should vote for that feature: Synchronize Plesk Servers
Originally, it was requested for failover scenario, but there are comments about high load scenarios as well (as you have requested). I think this is the most...
In Windows you can try to achieve this by using IIS Shared Configuration and IIS Centralized Certificates Store features, and by installing Active Directory Domain Controller, and using shared network drive to store vhosts content. There are still some issues with such configuration, but it is...
Plesk doesn't install certificate in system, if it is not used anywhere in Plesk. The same logic was in 12.0. So probably in 12.0 you have set this certificate to some domain? then Plesk will register this certificate in Certificates store, so you will see them in IIS as well.
Can you please try...
"Unable to connect to pipe" means that service Plesk Management service (plesksrv.exe) is not started.
Please ensure service is started.
Please also check if there are some crash dumps related to plesksrv generated in %plesk_dir%\etc\crashdumps
This is known issue, will be resolved in next 17.5.3 update. Problem appeared if you have different Plesk Installation and Data directories.
Fast workaround:
create empty file in %plesk_dir%\MySQL folder. For example: fix_upgrade.txt
Customizing Disk Security
Article describes case, when you have some web hosting software installed and you want psacln be able to access this software.
In your case you want Plesk just ignored such folder. So you should create file %plesk_dir%\etc\DiskSecurity\mapped_drive.xml, for example...
Andrei,
is this happened only once? or you can reproduce that always?
We are touching Default Web Site bindings only during Plesk installation. After that we shouldn't modify bindings for Default Web Site. If this happened, then this is probably bug.
So your scenario is:
you have created...
