Hi, is there some easy way to migrate an plesk windows server (psa-10.4.4-20111103.18) content (hosting (php), databases (mysql) and ftp accounts) to a current plesk linux installation (11.x)? Looks like migration manager is not able to do that despite asking for the "administrator"...

I've a problem with plesk 8.6.0 (everything updated)... I've set a set a backup schedule in this way: Number of backup files stored in repository: 3 the problem is that it keeps creating new backup files without deleting old ones (so it's not respecting the "3 backups" limit)...

yeah... that depends on the game... :) i'm running some gameservers... but nothing related to plesk.. just adduser... and get them running there :o

have you tried with migration manager? it should be able to open local dumps too... :)

plesk takes care of #hostname the only thing i've noticed it hasn't changed is the /etc/hosts... that i've modified manually... however i do not understard why it redirect me to the old hostname if i access to plesk without specifing the secure protocol... http instead of https...

i've changed the hostname of my server through the plesk admin interface... restart the server... everything now around the server is setted with the new hostname... except when i access to the plesk interface without specifing https.... (i just tipe http://sub.domain.tld) it redirect...

if you use external mx servers you need also to remove that domain from the local qmail config ;) remove the domains you want to use external mx services from these files: /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts /var/qmail/control/virtualdomains ;)

the --upgrade-to-release isn't officially supported by RH... so don't trust in up2date --upgrade-to-release :D

:/ today the problem reappeared... i've deleted the plesk default certificate... now plesk (admin interface) is working with my certificate, pop3s is working with the same one... but smtp use a cert signed for the host "plesk" where can i find that damn certificate and replace...

uhm.. i think i was tired too while writing that question :D i've red some how-to and i've found that i was missing the "setup"... i was thinking that after setting it as default plesk should take care of all the rest (https:// was working with the new certificate) but to get it...
