Thanks, if that works I'll just add the plesk server to the PowerDNS database with the slave names as well. That should at least alleviate some issues. FYI: I've been adding quite some domains on the server and so far the notify-to-soa hasn't been removed from the config.

This is still an issue. To this date we have subscriptions that expire, which never had a date set in the previous set up. The commands above did stop it from happening on subscriptions with webhosting by the way. The ones with forwarding and DNS hosting only are screwed however.
