7.5.3 Horde is slow...

Yes, horde is very very slow.

Same problem here. And fix for this issue?

Lets clear the air...

7.1.7 and 7.5.2 have the same version of horde as 6.0 had. It doesnt make a difference where you upgraded from, they didn't change it til now. 7.5.3 shipped with the latest version of horde, which while it looks good, it runs very slow. You guys need to get a room. Grow up... some of us are trying to get something done here. Chat rooms are on AOL's website.

Same Problem:

After upgrade from 7.5.2 to 7.5.3 Horde is really slow and the server load average rise every moment , if customer uses the horde.

So that is really f....

We start a ticket to SW-SOFT and hope for better performance.

problem is there's about 700 domains on that box. I've been comparing it to another box I've got, running the same number of domains, and working perfectly, to no avail. I can't seem to find the bottleneck.

Actually there is one big difference, the one that runs good is FC2 as opposed to FC1, but I don't think that's it.

The machine is also for superior than the one that works good too. It's running 2 Xeon 2.4's, and 4GB Ram, with raid 1 over 0. It used to scream with alot more domains on it. Now the P4 with a Gig is walking all over it.

Lost.

My system is FC2 with about 25 domains and Horde was so slow it was unusable. The host server is a dual opteron with 8gb ram and RAID 10 disks so I could not understand why it was so slow, the only thing I did was run yum against the ART repository reboot and now everythings much faster.

My only warning is do not update spamassassin from ART as it upgrades to ver 3 which Plesk does not work with it must be ver 2.6.

This is going to sound crazy...

If my yum.conf looks like this:

# THIS CHANNEL CONTAINS MY PSA COMPATIBLE RPMS (php, mysql, qmail-scanner, etc)
[atomic]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - $releasever - Atomic PSA-Compatible RPMS

Can I just run yum update -y and walk away, having all of ART's updates been installed...

Is it really that simple. Am I over complicating things?

Thanks in advance for answering my stupid question.

The only stupid question is the one not asked!

Always check any console output or logs to make sure it did in fact go ok. But in general, ART's repository works phenomenally well.

Thanks guys,
I've been running all my updates individually til now. I'm guessing that's probably why I have instability issues on that server.

My horde is running very very slow..
I am on plesk 8.1.0.. it didn't seem to get slow until plesk 8.0.1

anyone got a fix for this.. other than install ARTs distribution?

This is what I noticed... Horde webmail runs slow as hell with firefox but with internet explorer it runs just fine......

has to be some compatibility problems with firefox and horde
