Question Accessing Redis from local cli

ralph22

New Pleskian
Hello,
I'm running my Redis server via Docker image, all works perfectly fine, my CMS'es use it no problem.

However, I'm looking for a way to access it from my local machine, either via redis-cli or Redis Insight Mac app.

I've tried my Plesk server IP and Redis port but cannot get the connection working.

Do I need anything extra on my Redis (or Docker) configuration to access the server from outside Plesk environment?

start redis-cli (for Redis running as docker container) with:
docker exec -it containername redis-cli
(as containername, use the value you entered in the Plesk-Interface while settingup the docker-container)
