• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Accidentally removed Plesk Linux user

New Pleskian
Hello,

when I installed Plesk on my new Ubuntu 12.04 vServer I had to create 2 accounts for Plesk. The default admin account and a so called webspace account. First of all, is this normal behaviour that you have to create two accounts?

I used toxiro as username for the webspace account.

So now when I f.e. add a new domain or subdomain Plesk with the admin account, it always shows "System user: toxiro" and not admin.

The problem is now that I wanted to create a new Linux user toxiro "adduser toxiro" and I did not realize that the user already existed and that Plesk was using this system user. Later I removed the user again "deluser toxiro".

Now my question is how I can add this user again or more which groups does it need?

At the moment I cannot access my domains because of permission issues, what makes perfect sense.
