Resolved Acronis Backup Extension Stuck

ruemmele.net

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Debian 11.7
Plesk version and microupdate number
Obsidian 18.054
Hello,

I bought and set up the Plesk extension "Acronis Backup" in May. It worked fine until a week ago - now the disk space is full and the backup breaks - is logical, but where can I delete old backups? where can I change the backup to automatically delete old backups ? I don't find in Plesk (Obsidian V18.054 on Debian 11.7) any possibilities to do so. and the link "Go to Backup Console"(https://xxxxxxx:8443/modules/acronis-backup/index.php/go-to-backup-console) brings me an empty "Cyber Protect Console" website

Is there something wrong configured (connection Plesk server and Acronis webspace) ? Where can I configure this ?

Thanks for any tip...
Best regards
Philipp

I understand that you are backing up to Acronis Cloud, is that correct? And that your account ran out of storage space, right? In that case it would be advised to login to your Acronis Cloud account to clear space.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. as you wrote I think that the backup files are stored in the acronis cloud..

but when i go there - as i wrote ... klick the button "Go to Backup Console"(https://xxxxxxx:8443/modules/acronis-backup/index.php/go-to-backup-console)
it brings me on an empty "Cyber Protect Console" website...

how to login to the Acronis Cloud account ? where is this connection defined ? there is only the button "Go to Backup Console"
i ordered the Acronis Backup as Plesk Backup Extension with 500GB Backupspace...

Thanks and greetings
Philipp

there is no storage space visible...
and where can i modify my backup job ??

.. i think i use the wrong account when i change from the Plesk-Extension-Admin-Website to the Accronis-Cyber-Protect-Website

but i have the problem - which account shoud i use ? where is this information in Plesk stored ?

Have you tried contacting Acronis on this? It's their extension and product. What happens when you click the "Backups" tab?

No - it's not so easy to find contact information... when i click the "Support" Button in the Plesk Extension Directory - i reach a Plesk Support page.. when i open the link "Help and Dokumentation" i get a pdf Manual for the backup tool - but it's a useless document - no contact adress - no support information (..I'm getting annoyed - the more I learn about the product Acronis Backup and the implementation in plesk....)
... and i bought the product from plesk ( invoice is from cleverbridge) so my first step for support is plesk ... would be helpfull to get a contact adress
for support of this extension...

I agree that this is challenging. I would have thought that you can contact them through their "Acronis Cloud Backup" website. There is at least a chat option in the bottom right corner of the browser window. But anyway, surely Plesk support will also be willing to help here. Could you please open a ticket on https://support.plesk.com?

If you experience login issues, please see this KB article:
https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...rt-plesk-com-and-password-reset-does-not-work

If you bought your license from a reseller, please use the support subscription option:

thanks again for your support...

so i buy a backup extension from plesk for 450€ und i have a config problem ... then i have to buy a support subscription to get held ???
Yeah.. that's nice :-(

... but i think i'm getting closer to the problem.. it's a acronis account problem (as i wrote before).. when i click the button "Go to Backup Console"(https://xxxxxxx:8443/modules/acronis-backup/index.php/go-to-backup-console), there comes the Acronis Cloud Login .. and there i use the wrong user
[email protected] from company xxx.. Acronis Backup in plesk is configured to [email protected] ... Passwort Rest at Acronis with [email protected] is not working
... trying to contact Acronis Support

No, you do not have to pay for support. If you had read the content you'd have seen the 30 days trial period.

... ok thread can be closed... acronis cloud doesn't want an mail adress to login.. it uses the company name xxx.yyy
(password reset worked with that account - login is possible now)
