  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Add an additional HD to Plesk

AmeliaG

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

I added a 40GB HD to Plesk (directory is /home2).

My goal is to use this HD for backups. Under psa.conf I tried to change "DUMP_TMP_D /tmp" to "DUMP_TMP_D /home2", restarted psa, but when I use the backup manager I get an error "the directory home2 is does't exist or is not writeable" .

Please can someone help me to resolve this problem? Thank you ! Amelia

Hi,

I've not tested this but in theory it should work:

# rsync -a /var/lib/psa/dumps/ /home2/
# mount --bind /home2 /var/lib/psa/dumps

That's it :)

Regards,
Kristian

No, it doesn't work. Under the "download backup file to your local computer" I get an empty page.
