Adding an IP for primary DNS server via CLI returns error

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Using the command plesk bin dns -a example.com -primary 192.0.2.78 to add a IP address which points to the primary DNS server on a domain for which Plesk is used as a secondary DNS Server the following error is always returned:

Unsupported DNS record type: ""
exit status 1

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Add domain to Plesk
  2. Use Plesk as secondary DNS Server for domain using the command
    plesk bin dns --set-slave example.com
  3. Try to add IP address to point to primary DNS server with command
    plesk bin dns -a example.com -primary 192.0.2.78

ACTUAL RESULT

Command plesk bin dns -a example.com -primary 192.0.2.78 fails with error

Unsupported DNS record type: ""
exit status 1

EXPECTED RESULT

Command adds IP
