• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Adding email address with apostrophe

Hi,

One of our client wants a redirection set up to his email account hosted in Plesk 9.5.4

For example, [email protected] emails are redirected to a.b'[email protected]

I understand its simple to set up a redirection but when I input my clients email address (with an apostrophe) it throws up a warning message "Re direct email address is not valid". I removed the apostrophe and tested, it works. So clearly 'apostrophe' is the issue.

Even tried a "\" before the apostrophe but no luck. Used some tools to check if the email is a valid one and "Yes" it is. We've been receiving emails from that address at regular intervals.

Any ideas? Thnx

Any assistance here would be great? Please let me know if you need more information. Thnx.
