Hi All,

Long time forum reader, first time poster.

We just recently upgraded to 7.6 and have encountered a few problems. Most were covered in the forums and we successfully fixed all but one.

We mysteriously were getting a login box on one of our domains (we have many domains, but only one with this problem), and had to run the Reconfigurator to fix incorrect permissions. It seemed to work, but after a while the permission problems came back. So we ran the Reconfiguator and fixed the error... and the problem came back. Again, again and again!

After much head-scratching we discovered a scheduled Plesk program called AddSecurity.exe that ran every hour and messed up our domain permissions. I disabled the script and all seems well. However I'm a bit worried if by disabling this mystery process that I might cause more harm than good.

Anyone have any insight they can provide?
