Question Alias for webmail.domain.com

New Pleskian
Hello,
it's possible to redirect a subdomain to webmail.domain.com.

I need a subdomain like mail.domain.com that redirect to webmail, mail is also the MX record in dns, could be a problem?

Thx in advance

There should be no problems when you create that subdomain and redirect it to webmail. MX is something different. You can still open a website on port 80 or 443 while mail is transported on port 25.

Why should mail be treated different from other subdomains? I don't see why this could not be redirected. What happens when you open "hosting settings" and change the usage type to "redirect"?
