• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello!
One of my customer on my Plesk server whats to use the Plesk CLI within his PHP scripts to configure his subscription.

For e.g.: plesk bin site --create new.customer-domain.com -webspace-name customer-subscription.com -hosting true

Is it possible to enable this command for one/all clients. So that they can modify their subscription with the SSH terminal or their PHP scripts (shell_exec function).

Thanks in advance for any help!

By default, the function shell_exec is available for customers. If this function is not listed in the disable_functions parameter value field, it is enabled.
This can be checked in Plesk > Domains > example.com > PHP Settings > View phpinfo() page, as described in this article.
As for ssh session - you have to provide customer root access for using Plesk CLI utilities. I suppose it is not secure.
