  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Alternative for Mylittleadmin to access MSSQL database

Thomas Oryon

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Windowserver 2022
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.56
Hello All,

I wish to use Mylittleadmin in windows server Plesk to access the MSSQL database. Since this option is depreciated.

Can you please let us know the Alternative for Mylittleadmin for Plesk windows server? Also, the alternative should be like the panel should be login within plesk. It should not be seprate interface by login using username and password. It should be within the Plesk.

Please let us know the alternative for this.

Awaiting your reply.

myLittleAdmin has been removed from Plesk because the vendor stopped providing support for it. Therefore, it was out of date and had security issues.

At the moment, there are no alternatives available that can be managed via Plesk.
Please leave a vote and comment of your use-case on the Plesk UserVoice portal.

Instead of myLittleAdmin, consider using local database clients such as HeidiSQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Note: as an additional alternative, it is possible to manually install outdated myLittleAdmin without using Plesk (outside), but it is the action that should be done on your own risk without Plesk support in case of any issues with it.

Hello All,

We wish to connect the database with the Adminer for all the accounts hosted in the Plesk. Is there are ways to perform this, if yes, can you share the steps for this?

Awaiting your reply.

Adminer is not officially supported by Plesk. You should be able to configure it, however, we do not have a dedicated guide on the topic. I have come across the following article from a third-party source, which might be helpful. Please note that I haven't tested that and I cannot guarantee it will work. You should also proceed with caution and ensure you have a backup, just to be on the safe side.

Hello Sebahat.hadzhi,

Thanks for your reply and i have already followed this and it works for me. I have found another solution that .skel (skeletion) directory might help to solve my issues.

May I know how to achieve this by creating the skeletion directory?
