If I am not mistaken the email address of the Admin user is used as sender address for notifications.

In my case, it is sent from [email protected].
I have hostname, I also modified /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/php.ini, but it cannot fix my problem.

Do you know what notification will use mail.force_extra_parameters = "[email protected]"?

They cannot be changed by mail.force_extra_parameters = "[email protected]".

I'm not sure about them, because they have not been tested yet.

Strange, I do have a custom sender address set for the Plesk notifications send from the servers I manage. It's been a while since I have looked in to this, so my memory on this topic is a bit fuzzy. However I can't remember ever setting the mail.force_extra_parameters to changing the sender address to be honest. What did work for me is changing the email address on the Administrators profile in Plesk.
