apache user - file permission

im unable to chmod any file that has been uploaded thru phpscript. all files get user apache.
even if we log in as admin in plesk we are unable to chmod.

anyone have any clue about this?

Report it to SWSoft - they are aware of it but you might help giving it a higher priority. So I hope we see it in a later 7.5.x release
