  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

API-RPC create alias by client. Fixed?

We're building a webservice which needs the ability to add domain aliasses under an existing domain. To do this we've made a PHP class which connects to the Plesk API to make the changes in Plesk.

To keep it as secure as possible we want to use a client to login to the API instead of the administrator, but a client (or reseller) has no permission to work with aliasses.

At the knowledgebase we've found a hotfix for this problem (http://kb.odin.com/7075), which works without a problem.

Now the big question: At the moment we're using Plesk 9.3, and the latest version is 9.5 but at the changelog there is no comment about this problem. So, is the hotfix committed in the latest version? Or do we have to mannually apply the fix again when we update?
