  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Resolved ASP.NET Core 2.0 Support

As far as I know, it will be supported in Plesk Onyx 17.8

Can I install .netcore 2.0 directly from windows server? I want to insure this operation doesn't make any issue on Plesk or other ASP.NET versions installed on the server.
i'm using the last vesion of plesk onyx.

Download .NET Core

Thanks.

Just install the .NET Core 2.0 SDK, and copy the artifacts generated when publishing the project into the root of the website. Disable ASP.NET support in the hosting settings.
Works like a charm.

I have installed Plesk Onyx on Windows Server 2012 R2. The Plesk panel is showing NET Core 1.1 in Installed Components. Can you guide me what all I have to install on the Host Server for Core 2.0 support. Thanks for your time and help.
