• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

auto installer refuses?

Hi,

After downloading the complete product and the autoinstaller, I cannot continue since when starting it, it immediately throws the following error message on screen.

ERROR: Syntax error in auto-installer's configuration file:
A closing quotation mark was not found.

Just did what the docs said, download the file, put it somewhere on disk and run it.
Also tried an older version, but this does the very same thing, even when running as root
system: RH EL4
file: parallels_installer_v3.4.1_build090204.18_os_RedHat_el4_x86_64

Anyone can shed some light on this?

weird

The above message cames when running as root. When running as certain user with specific psa groups, the message doesn't come at all? Nice when one wants to do a clean install.

Found...
Message was right ;-)
appearantly an older conf file existed.... lol.... didn't even know someone tried this before.
