• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved automatic reset folder permissions and change ftp user password

New Pleskian
hello
i'm using Plesk Onyx Version 17.0.17 Update #33.
i have an issue and it is that when i set full permissions for iis app pool user on a folder of an addon domain of a web host, after some while, the user's permission reset to default automatically!
also in that web host, when i create a ftp user with path of that folder of that addon domain, after while, the ftp server does not accept that ftp user's password and i must change it's password and it turn ok.....

what is the cause of these automatically reset and changes?

hi, the issue solved by plesk staffs help through twitter. thank you to them. @PleskHelps
however the issue was from ''Allow inheritable permissions from the parent to propagate to this object and all child objects. Include these with the entries explicitly defined here.' checkbox' in file manager on the folder that i said before.
