Backing Up & Restoring Data Problem

KaiThH

New Pleskian
Hello,

I got the Panel Version: 11.5.30 Update #21 (on both servers) and wanted to write me a little shell script which creating me a backup file and transfer it over rsync to my second server. But I'm unable to restore this file on my second server.
I also read this Thread about it but I still got the problem that I'm unable to restore the file.

My testing:
Main Server:
Code:
No problems on this side.

Second Server:
Code:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --restore /var/lib/psa/dumps/backup.tgz -backup-password test123 -level server -ignore-sign

And there I have the following problem (like in the Thread which I linked above):
Code:
#
The backup file was extracted to "/var/lib/psa/dumps".

Unable to decrypt backup. Specified key is not suitable.

So I tried to find out where the problem is and tried other commands of pleskrestore in different combinations:
Code:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --info /var/lib/psa/dumps/backup.tgz

#
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backup information
Dump version: 9.0
File: /var/lib/psa/dumps/backup_info_1311071701.xml
Type: Server
Comment:
Date: 1311071701
Size: 1.21 G
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Client-info] user
  [Domain-info] xxx.com
[Client-info] userxxxyyy
  [Domain-info] xxxyyy.com

So I tried to validate the backup and testing the -backup-password function:
Code:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --check-backup /var/lib/psa/dumps/backup.tgz -backup-password test123 -ignore-sign
# The backup file is valid.

Code:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --check-backup /var/lib/psa/dumps/backup.tgz -ignore-sign
# Unable to decrypt the backup: The specified key is not suitable.

-backup-password working correctly with --check-backup.

Hope these are enough informations to help me or give me a hint how to solve the problem.

Greetings

My advice - do not use a password option -backup-password test123
