  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Backup error via FTP

Hi,

We're using Plesk Obisidian with CentOS7.
We've used Plesk Onyx before and made backups to an external storage, this works for us.

But the moment we started using Plesk Obisidian and did the exact same thing, we started to get error messages.
This is the message we get:
Unable to upload the archive clients/shop51752/domains/sprookjeshoek.nl/backup_user-data_1911121142.tgz to the external storage: Cannot read public key

I tried using a password instead of the Plesk encryption key, but it still gives the same error message.

I'm not really sure how to fix this issue.

Regenerate the backup sign key using below command:
Code:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/backup_sign --generate
