• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Issue Backup issues occurring due to subscription problems

Regular Pleskian
Hi there

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE
Plesk Obsidian, Version 18.0.25 Update #2, CentOS Linux 7.7.1908 (Core)

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
When I am viewing my daily backups in the backup manager, I witness that the backup has ran successfully but always displays an error.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
By going to Server Management - Tools & Settings - Backup Manager - [viewing the backups]

ACTUAL RESULT
An error appears saying the following: The backup [Date] was created and can be restored, although some minor issues occurred. Download, View or Close message.

When I view the error log it displays the following:
Backup Task [Date/Time] Details

Warning: Subscription "domain.co.uk"

Not all the data from /var/www/vhosts/domain.co.uk was backed up successfully:
domain2.co.uk/logs/access_log.webstat: Cannot open: Permission denied
domain.co.uk/logs/access_log.webstat: Cannot open: Permission denied
domain.co.uk/logs/access_ssl_log.webstat: Cannot open: Permission denied

EXPECTED RESULT
I expect the backups to run successfully like on my other 2 servers.

Please could someone assist and shine a light in how I can resolve this issue?

Thank you for your time.

Not all the data from /var/www/vhosts/domain.co.uk was backed up successfully:
domain2.co.uk/logs/access_log.webstat: Cannot open: Permission denied
domain.co.uk/logs/access_log.webstat: Cannot open: Permission denied
domain.co.uk/logs/access_ssl_log.webstat: Cannot open: Permission denied
have you checked or compared the permissions of the named path & logfiles? In the past when I had this issue it was wrong permison or wrong ownership and just changed it to the right one solved it.
