On every Plesk update I cross my fingers that 80% works ... 7.5 messed up plesk's own mysql tables.
I never had a successfull update, 7.5.4 was no exception, php stoped working.
changing it to:
output_buffering = On
fixed it
Had to change my antivirus to ClamAV since DrWeb now sends 1000's of emails to my mailbox.
I hope that they SWSoft makes a reliable product by version 10.
