• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Best way to backup plesk server to restore in another server

Janton

New Pleskian
Hello,

I open this post to find the best way to do a backup of the plesk panel that works always and can be restore in any plesk server with the same version.

I start to use the pleskbackup utility dumping only the configuration and copying the data with bacula ( /var/www/vhots, /var/qmail/mailnames, mysql databases and /etc) but a few days ago the pleskbackup start to give me errors that the backups have errors and i cant do the backup with pleskbackup.

Which method are you using to backup plesk server?

Best Regards.

We use BackupPC for this, can restore easily with RSYNC even per domain or file.
