• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Big file upload through File Manager

OsmanD

New Pleskian
Hello,

I use version 11.0.9. Is there a file size limit for uploading a file through File Manager? I tried to upload 430 MB zip file, but I couldn't succeeded. I got error 404 page not found in the first attempt after 70-80 minutes. In the second attempt, I waited more than 2 hours, I didn't get any errors but I couldn't wait more and cancelled. Thank you for your help.

I think that it is related to Apache timeouts. Use ftp for uploading huge files.

When I newly create a site, it takes hours to be able to access to FTP. So, I want to use File Manager until ftp access is active. Can we say there is no file size limitation for File Manager? Is there a way to change the timeout for apache?
