Billing?

I stand corrected. The following message appears...
Your license only allows 1 active client slots and you have no more available.
Either purchase a larger capacity license or remove or archive some old clients.
Which, is kinda silly when I can go download PleskBilling separately, integrate it directly into Plesk, and get 10 clients for free.

If I want up to 50 clients, I'd have to pay $25/month. No purchase option.
Or, I could stay with ClientExec, and pay a 1 time license of $199. And get the same level of integration and extensibility.

Understandably, there are finer points in the differences between packages. "The devil is in the details." But, from a 50,000 foot view, is this as much of a no-brainer as it seems? Stay with what I have.

Bugger ! Didnt realise it wasnt free and now I've added the package and cant remove it grrrrrrrrrrrrr !!

Where can we find the new billing feature?

Gentlemen,

Thank you all for the reports.

The required information was added to Plesk 8.6 for Unix/Linux Administrator's Guide, chapter Configuring and Maintaining Your Server, section Using Plesk Billing.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you want to use Parallels Plesk Billing, make sure the plesk-billing component is installed. You can view the installed components at Server > Component Info.
With the installed plesk-billing component, use the following URL to access Parallels Plesk Billing:

https://host.name:8443/plesk-billing/app-modernbill-admin/, where host.name is the host name of your Plesk server.

Parallels Plesk Billing is fully integrated with Plesk Control Panel and Plesk Control Panel provides license for Plesk Billing, so you won’t need to purchase it separately.
Now you can create accounts for your customers and provide them with the URL to access the client’s interface of Parallels Plesk Billing:

https://host.name:8443/plesk-billing/app-modernbill-client/, where host.name is the host name of your Plesk server.

For additional information about working with Parallels Plesk Billing, refer to Parallels Plesk Billing documentation at http://www.pleskbilling.com/support/manual/.

The Plesk Billing also doesn't work with IE6 users. The DHTML isn't compatible.

How does Plesk control panel handle the licenses? On my server Plesk billing is only supporting a max of 1 client.

Hello MajorWinters,

Now Plesk Billing Bundle is for partners only. You should contact sales reps for more information.

The license is for 1 client or for more clients?
And if is for 1 client where I put the new key ?

sergius

I have in PLESK Plesk Billing installed automat. I buy the license but I don't found where put the license because PLESK or PLESK not have place where I can put the license.

Remove plesk Billig

"yum remove plesk-billing"

That was what I was looking for. I have gone from 10-licences which doesn't even cover my own 2 accounts, never mind providing me a way to expand my business in these times!!

Talk about shoot yourself in the foot!
