Branding - server login page title shows the ampersand & as &
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE
Plesk 18.0.57#1, AlmaLinux 8.9
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
Custom branding. Your company name has an ampersand character in its name, and it's used in the custom branding its site title.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Go to branding and enter a custom title, for example "Mick & Mike".
Log out and check title of login page.
ACTUAL RESULT
when on the Plesk servers login page, title shows as Mick & Mike
EXPECTED RESULT
title should show as Mick & Mike
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The damage is not so much technical, as reputational. If your company offers coding/programming among other things, it's right the opposite of confidence building with potential clients when you can't even get the title of your servers login page right.
This is a regression of an earlier bug from around Plesk 11 or 12. We reported it then, and it was resolved and has worked since. Seems to have crept back in. Maybe during a code cleaning exercise.
