Hi,
this morning we found one alias-domain not working anymore (at least not displaying the website, email not sure). We deleted the alias domain and tried to recreate it. We became an error message that it was not possible to create the alias domain due to parameter missmatch. After further investigation we noticed an empty CNAME record for the main domain. After deleting the empty CNAME record it was possible to create the alias domain again. Now (after restarting apache) the alias domain works again.
We did not manually add that empty CNAME record, so I think it must be a bug. As it lead to a domain brakedown, it was very critical to us!
I also read, that at least 2 others had the same problem in the near past:

no third party software installed
