  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Can not create new users for local git repository

laoxi

New Pleskian
Hello,
I want to create some new accounts for my local git repository.
But I does not work. It just works with the admin account of the subbdomain.
I created the new account under GIT subdomain > Web Users.
Now when I want to clone the repository I get a prompt to enter an username and a password.
After entering the credentials of the new account, I get the following error:
"fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://git.domain.com/plesk-git/test.git/'"

Is it possible to use the local git repository with different accounts than the admin account of the subdomain?
If yes, what I am doing wrong?

I already installed this fix but it does not help, too:
Unable to change password for the git user under the subdomain: Authentication failed

Best regards,
Thank you!

For own operation, Git uses system user which was created during subscription creation and can't operate under any 'web user'.
Your idea looks like feature request for plesk.uservoice.com :)
