Hi,

in updater in 8.2.0 still "Base packages of Plesk" and "Tomcat Java Servlets support" is yellow. If i try do install i get two mail reports.

If you see both components "Base packages of Plesk" and "Tomcat Java Servlets support" with yellow marks try upgrading them separately, base packages first first and tomcat then.
Upgrading one by one provides more details about the failure for each package.
Provided update report looks incomplete, so useless for me.

I can not deselect one of this component.

The other funny thing is, Plesk says Apache is not running. I can only start and stop Apache with Putty. If i try to start Apache in Plesk ist says

Aha. Plesk Updater is trying to install base Plesk packages and complains that package psa-autoinstaller is already installed.

Try renewing Plesk components with packagemng before running Plesk Updater:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/packagemng

Also check Plesk components with autoinstaller from the command line manually:

/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller --select-release-id=PLESK_8_2_0
--show-packages

Try removing psa-autoinstaller from rpm database, then start Plesk Updater:

~# rpm -e --justdb psa-autoinstaller

Another issue.. What apache package do you have installed? Where is the apache starting script located?
Plesk is trying to manage apache service through script '/etc/init.d/httpd', but it is missing on your server.

Try:

~# rpm -ql `rpm -q httpd` | grep init.d
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd
~# cp -rp /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd /etc/init.d/httpd
~# /etc/init.d/httpd restart

Execute packagemng from command line as root. This utility re-considers installed components in Plesk anew.

Can you please be more detailed what to type in Putty :(
 
go to putty, login to the server with plesk and run:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/packagemng --set-dirty-flag

(to create a flag indicating to update components list in the DB)
and then

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/packagemng


I advise you to upgrade with the latest autoinstaller 3.2.1, it has several critical bugfixes, download it at
ftp://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk8.2/
and run from the shell. It's also possible to replace the existing with the newest and run the upgrade from the Plesk. To do it download the autoinstaller 3.2.1 from swsoft site and do: cp psa_installer_v3.2.1_build070914.16_os_SuSE_es10_i386 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller

Where do i need to store
psa_installer_v3.2.1_build070914.16_os_SuSE_es10_i386
bevore running cp psa_installer_v3.2.1_build070914.16_os_SuSE_es10_i386 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller ?
 
You can store in anywhere, but bear in mind that you have to be root to overwrite
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller.

Try to use autoinstaller from shell, download it, then grant execute permissions with
chmod +x psa_installer_v3.2.1_build070914.16_os_SuSE_es10_i386,
then run from the directory where it's located:
./psa_installer_v3.2.1_build070914.16_os_SuSE_es10_i386

What's the OS you're running? I tried to guess it from the log, but the architecture can be different. Are you sure it's not 64 bit?

If it's 32 bit and you cannot run the suitable autoinstaller with the error you mentioned, I guess something is really wrong with the system... ask support, they should help you.
 
Its 32bit.

Does this support cost money, because i got Plesk from my provider?
 
yes, it does.
$75 is the minimal price, I believe it will be enough.
