Can Plesk Panel consume any SAML SSO server?

I've searched high and low and found several mentions of Plesk Panel enabling SSO, but couldn't determine if Plesk Panel can consume ANY arbitrary (non-Plesk/Parallels) SAML compliant SSO server (IdP) when configured to be SSO enabled?
I understand that it might be necessary to configure the SSO IdP to provide certain attributes, but apart from that, is there any potential problem in this scenario?

Hello,

The management of Parallels Plesk Panel with third party SSO server is not supported, but however you can use Plesk API RPC Protocol to manage Parallels Plesk Panel with any application you want. You can find more information on this protocol in the following guide:

I saw the API, but could not (yet) find any way to use it to pre-authenticate users using SOAP/API calls. If that can be done, could anyone give me a headstart or pointer?
