  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Cannot Delete or Unsuspend domains

When I try to delete or unsuspend domains plesk just hangs. Nothing seems to happen. I tried this from the command line:

/usr/local/psa/bin/domain -u domain.com -status enabled

and nothing happens. I'm not sure how to delete from the command line so I'm not sure how that would respond. Any suggestions?

What about domain removing with

# /usr/local/psa/bin/domain --remove domain.com ?

Use

# /usr/local/psa/bin/domain --help

for more details.

Command line doesn't seem to work either. Is there a queue somewhere I can check? Maybe something is stuck?

Check /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log and /var/log/messages

There are some DNS error messages, would that have anything to do with it?

I tailed the log files while I tried to delete the domain, and there was nothing that popped up.

Contact support team for detailed investigation and fixing this issue directly on your server.

cmd hang

If you have any event handlers that run when suspending/unsuspending/etc.. make sure you disable and then try again. I had a similar issue and the culprit was an event handler that was trying to run 2 commands defined instead of one and the second command was never running. I split it out into 2 separate event handlers and presto.

I rebooted the server and that solved the problem.
