  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I have reinstalled everyhing, no errors on the operating system Centos 4.2 or when installing Plesk. (dobble checked the output from putty).

I still cant connect to plesk by https://ip:8443/ to finish the setup

HELP!!!

I installed CentOS 4.3 with all of the updates and chose the firewall and selinux options and used the latest autoinstaller to install Plesk.

I can ftp files and utilize frontpage and logon to Plesk while physically logged onto the server, but not when I goto https://domain:8443 or https://IP:8443

ehh shouldnt the http://ip be visable?? .. the firewall is not blocking those ports, so its not a firewall issue.

The 8443 at the end designates port number 8443. You never mentioned http://IP

Yeah you are right :-( never mentioned it :)

The case is: I cant connect to the server at all from the web. but internaly using local tunnel everything is working great. The system doesnt show any faults (that I know of)

Any hints out there in pleskland?

I had the same problem after a reboot

I ran ./psa stopall and then restarted Plesk

/etc/rc.d/init.d/psa start
