• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Question Can't get PHP working in CHROOTED

This could happen when the operating system itself does not come with a default PHP version. It should still be possible to use a Plesk supplied PHP version instead.

As Plesk comes with PHP 8.1 and no additional configuration is required to use PHP 8.1 along with a chrooted environment, I assume your question is actually how to use a specific PHP version on the command line. If so, this article has the solution: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...n-for-an-SSH-user-on-a-Plesk-for-Linux-server

I have same "issue", that php is not available within chroot (none at all - no /opt and within /bin only system binaries). So wondered about your statement, that the problem would only be the missing system default (I use the preconfigured AlmaLinux appliance from plesk).
But at your linked site there is the paragraph "Subscriptions configured with a chrooted environment" and this one links to article, that J.Wick linked in the first post.

So seems to be plesk default that there is no php within chroot.
